Aaron Cossé

A trumpet player who resides in Houston, TX. He is a Native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his musical instruction under his Father at the age of 7. Aaron is a Graduate of J. Frank Dobie High School in Houston, Texas and was a member of the Dobie Marching Band, Varsity Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band. While in high school, Aaron received several musical accolades and awards including earning superior ratings at Solo & Ensemble Festival and earning a spot in the TMEA Region 19 Jazz Band. He also attended several summer institutes including The Texas Music Festival and Summer Jazz Workshop. Aaron is currently a Music Education major at Prairie View A&M University. He is a member of the Marching Storm and also a member of the Prairie View Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band II, and Trumpet Ensemble. He is a studying under Dr. Timmey Zachery, Trumpet instructor and Head Band Director at Prairie View A&M University. Aaron has a Passion for Jazz. Recently, Aaron has been performing with his father and friends in a local Houston Brass Band. In the future, Aaron plans to continue his studies in Jazz by attending Graduate School.
